The Bronze area was part of the outside parking lot, flanked on one side by a van and the other by a bus, it included the exterior of these two vehicles, along a short fence line and the front of a shipping container and the internal of the bus, which was a single story short bus. One hide was on an air conditioning unit on the front of the container and all dogs found this hide. The second was inside the coach on the first row of seats behind the drivers seat, where the wheel chair access was. Some dogs found the bus a little too environmental to search and a few handlers just blocked the area without realising. A few new people to bronze that was nice to see and lots to like about their searches, also some great searches NFC by handlers of two dogs, had Chutney not been NFC he would of won!

The Gold area was the inside garage at the coach yard, it started at the door and included the ground floor workshop and a large coach, both inside and out. There were only two hides in this search, one was inside a pipe on the floor, under a tool workstation. There was a waste drum in front of the tool station and this bounced a few dogs off that area, those that found either caught it from the other direction or handlers tasked them to check around the drum. The second hide was on the bottom step of a ladder in front of the roller shutter doors, this was about 4-6ft from the open door of the coach and drew dogs into the coach. All the dogs searched well, the top two dogs were very thorough and the winner confidently called it clear and stopped their search at 5 1/2 minutes.

This was the same area as above, with the addition of the kitchen area to the right as you entered, but Jules' devious side for hide placement came out to play and there were 4 to find!

Again started from the door, the 1st hide was immediately inside the door at ground level, one dog got this near the end of their search, none on the way in. The second hide was on some hanging keys on the left as you entered the kitchen, the dogs worked this really well to narrow it down, its was approx 4-5ft high, this was the only one where they couldn't get to source (although fairly close). Hide no 3 was in a hollow pipe by the shutter doors between the coach and wall and all dogs picked this up well. The final hide was in a coat pocket (dog nose height) hanging from the tyre jacks near the coach entrance, most handlers just totally missed this area either sending the dog into the coach or coming out and going along the shutter door instead. Some great quality searching, no one found all four hides but dogs searched well and a mixture of all the hides was found by different dogs. A few handlers got stuck on the coach for a while but all covered the area in the time allowed.
